This subdomain handles all the mail services. It provides both webmail as well as IMAP and SMTP connections. This is a summary of the software used and key features:

• Dovecot: This is the backend the users connect to using the IMAP protocol. It also acts as the MDA using the LMTP protocol. Authentification for both SMTP and IMAP is handled by this service.
• Dovecot pigeonhole: Adds support for sieve and managesieve filtering language.
• Postfix: This is the MTA, provides SMTP for virtual domains.
• Spamhaus: Provides blacklists to prevent spam.
• SPF, DKIM, DMARC & ARC: Several security protocols to legitimate the email sent by the server preventing your domain to be treated as spam.
• Snappymail: Webmail to access email using a web browser.
